This is the catalogue for the joint exhibition of two leading contemporary artists: Mao Yan and Zhou Chunya. Although they paint very different subjects, it is their distinctive brushstrokes and use of colours that imbue their art with individuality. While Zhou’s brushworks are expressive and carefree, Mao’s are sensitive and delicate. The difference has been carefully studied in the accompanying essay written by Li Xianting.
