The catalogue is published in conjunction with a group exhibition of 17 Chinese artists, aimed at presenting the current development of Chinese art, such that every artist who participated in this exhibition has their own unique voice. It is said that in the later half of the 1990's, group presentation had all but disappeared, and everyone is now expressing themselves in a personnel manner. Brief artists' biographies are included.
