This is a monograph of the artist Julia Nee Chu from her solo exhibition at Taipei Fine Arts Museum and Alisan Fine Arts Gallery in 1989 respectively. The aesthetic in her abstract calligraphy paintings marries East and West, alluring offspring that resulted from knowing, controlled and reasoned hybridisation.
