A thank you letter from J.Brooks Joyner (Director of Vancouver Art Gallery) to Zheng Shengtian about sharing a book Artists of Chinese Origin in North America Directory. Joyner also mentioned that instead of borrowing the exhibition 'China Avantgarde' (which was curated by Hans Van Dijk, Jochen Noth and Andreas Schmid), the Vancouver Art Gallery planned to borrow 'Art in China, Post 1989' (which possibly refers to 'Post-1989, China New Art' that was curated by Johnson Chang and Li Xianting).
