Vu Thi Nhusha and Chantal Roman Vals at Gold Cock Bar

Vu Dan Tan and Natasha Kraevskaia's daughter Vu Thi Nhusha and Chantal Roman Vals (French teacher; close friend with Salon Natasha) witnessing the impromptu mural-painting by the three artists at Gold Cock Bar.

In 1996 three artists Truong Tan, Mai Chi Thanh, and Eric Leroux from Salon Natasha produced together a mural painting at Gold Cock, a bar frequently visited by artists in Hanoi in the mid-1990s. The improvised ‘painting-performance’ last for approximately two hours, and it went on display for a few months before the paint deteriorated under the humid weather. All the photo documentations were taken by Veronika Radulovic, a German artist, a teacher at the Hanoi Fine Arts University, and a close friend to Truong Tan.
