Above the piano are two abstract paintings: the upper one by Maritta Nurmi and the lower one by Vu Dan Tan. Close to the two paintings is another work by Maritta Nurmi, above the door is a painting by Phuong Vu Manh. Next to it on the right wall is a painting by Nguyen Quang Huy. On the same row are abstract paintings by Vu Dan Tan. In the middle of the main space of Salon Natasha is a table temporarily placed by Vu Dan Tan which was used for making woodblock prints.
The interior of Salon Natasha had been constantly transformed by Vu Dan Tan. To give the Salon a varying ambience, the artist would change the position of the furniture, the display of art objects, and create site-specific installations. Vu Dan Tan attempted to make the Salon a space more than a gallery; he emphasised its unique and natural combination of a home, an artist’s studio, a venue for friends and art lovers to get together, and an exhibition space.
