Notes on Shop 6 written by Joy Dayrit in 1975. The notes include several definitions of Shop 6 and descriptions of the activities and exhibitions of the Shop 6 artists.
Excerpt from the notes:
'Shop 6 is not in fact an art gallery. Although many of its exhibitions were held at the free space outside the Kamalig, Shop 6 exhibits in any other available space - in the artist's own home, at the park or in someone else's gallery during someone else's exhibition. It is probably a group, but to confine Shop 6 into a group is to give it a common behavior which it does not have. Shop 6's behavior is individual and unpredictable....But to call Shop 6 'unpredictable' is to give it an unexact description it may not accept.'
