Photograph of Roberto Chabet with Kong Ziggurat (Fall) from his Kong Ziggurat series.
The Kong Ziggurats (or King Kong Collages) is a set of collages made by Chabet from 1979 to 1980 using pages from the book, The Making Of King Kong. His collages from this period were not layered, but were made with whole sheets of paper taped side by side or by placing sheets on top of each other.
The series was first exhibited in the Cultural Center of the Philippines in 1980.
