This is an enlarged and revised edition, with photographic documentation of the exhibition.
This catalogue is published to accompany a series of three yearly exhibitions by the Mori Art Museum in Japan which gives preference to the work of young artists and creators in Japan and Asia and to stimulate debate about why contemporary art, architecture and design are an indispensable part of everyday life. The exhibition marked the debate about the changing nature of Japanese contemporary art that re-examines the reality in which we find ourselves as well as where we stand today.
The catalogue starts off with a Foreword by David Elliott, Director of the Museum. It contains a couple of essays and colour plates with description. Artists' biographies and selected bibliography, check list and exhibition outline are included.
