Photograph with a note written on the back from Mario Perlingieri. Perlingieri was an Italian prisoner of war based in Lahore and a former student of Picasso. Zubeida Agha was able to develop her modernist artistic practice under Perlingieri's tutelage after being introduced to him by her brother in 1946.
