Work Presented at Romeo Must Paint (Set of 7 Photographic Documentations)
Photographic documentation of a series of work by Romeo Lee in his solo exhibition 'Romeo Must Paint', curated by Roberto Chabet at Finale Art Gallery, SM Megamall from 29 August - 10 September 2003.
Excerpt from the press release:
'Romeo Lee is a painter from the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts as well as a punk singer-performer and mountaineer. For this exhibition, he returns to his roots in painting after abandoning the canvas and crashing into the alternative music scene to cultivate his virtual cult status in the underground circuit. Dubbed 'Romeo Must Paint,' the exhibit features a series of small paintings and photographs that assemble his curious repertoire of contemporary imagery that ranges from the sacred to the profane, the banal to the profound.'
