Photograph of Nilo Ilarde's Drawing The Line Between Painting And Sculpture in 'Perishable Goods', a group exhibition by Roberto Chabet, Nilo Ilarde, Gerry Tan, and Bert Antonio at West Gallery, Quezon City, 13 - 30 June 1997.
'Consisting of collages, assemblages, and installations that incorporates found objects, the exhibition examines the 'perishable goods' that define modern-day life and seeks in the debris and ruins of the fugitive, the ephemeral, and the contingent, the epiphanies that lie in wait.
The four artists who have regularly exhibited together since the early '80s are known for their highly exploratory, thought-provoking works that address modernist/post-modernist issues.'
