Poster of the exhibition 'Portfolio' curated by Ray Albano at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Main Gallery from 26 April to May 1976.
Excerpt from the exhibition notes:
''Portfolio', an exhibition of works in sets, is a preoccupation with disciplining possibilities. The artist in this case works within a given condition - within the concept of a portfolio, defined as a portable case for carrying detached papers, prints, or drawings. As evidenced in this exhibition, what appears to be important in the concept is the detachability or physical looseness of its contents. The detachability is physical but in essence, each set's totality is the distinct yet encompassing relatedness of one part-piece to another, and of this same part-piece to the whole.'
The participating artists are: Phyllis Zaballero, Ginny Dandan, Moc Cervantes, Gig de Pio, Huge Bartolome, Lani Maestro, Mercy Acosta, Jack Sotto, Noli Gamboa, Ray Albano, Roberto Chabet, Judy Sibayan, Rita Perez, Ed Vinluan, and Grace King.
