Alex Hufana's Sangley presented in the group exhibition 'Collage' curated by Ray Albano at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Small Gallery from 23 July to 8 August 1976.
Excerpt from the exhibition notes:
'Sticking things together happens to be a practice close to the concerns of an artist who sees order in naive clutter. Alejandrino Hufana's 'primitive' collages are due to the gentle abandon of the most banal materials the spirit has taken hold of.'
