Typed manuscript on the basis of which art historian Ratan Parimoo delivered this paper in a seminar organised by the Lalit Kala Akademi on the occasion of the 1st Indian Triennial in February 1968.
It was later published in Roop Lekha journal in New Delhi in 1972 and also appeared in The Times of India newspaper on 23 July 1972.
