'Baroda Group of Artists Exhibition, 1956' was held at Udayan, Sayaji Bagh, Baroda from 21 April to 26 April 1956. Participating artists included G.R. Santosh, Ratan Parimoo, K.G. Subramanyan, Prabha Dongre, Shanti Dave, K. Patel, Triloke Kaul, Vinay Trivedi, N.S. Bendre, Balkrishna Patel, Jyoti Bhatt, Prafull Dave, and Ramesh Pandya.
The Baroda Group of Artists was formed in the year 1956 by G.R. Santosh, Ratan Parimoo, K.G. Subramanyan, Prabha Dongre, Shanti Dave, K. Patel, Triloke Kaul, Vinay Trivedi, N.S. Bendre, Balkrishna Patel, Jyoti Bhatt, Prafull Dave, and Ramesh Pandya. The Group had exhibited in various cities like Bombay, Ahmedabad, and Srinagar between the mid-1950s and mid-1960s. Members of the Group changed over the years.
