'My interest is the relationship between public order and capital flow, and the ambiguous nature in the music of Shostakovich. All elements were modified through computer program: subtitles, usually appearing at the end of a film become here the centre of this work and have been translated one hundred times through Google online (the original manuscript was written by a financial reporter who shares the same name with me); lens, from 1 minute stretched to 1 hour to fit the length of movie (the street shooting security); Shostakovich seventh symphony "Leningrad", slowed down three times. This is an experiment about the possible relationships between title, lens and soundtrack; and a one hour long lens work as my tribute to classic movies.' (artist statement)
