This work is part of the installation, The Sher-Gil Archive. It consists of wooden boxes covered with etched glass containing autochromes by Umrao Singh Sher-Gil of the Sher-Gil family in 1924, converted into translites. This image shows a portrait of Amrita Sher-Gil.
