The defaced booklet was sent to Jean-Hubert Martin from a person who claimed to represent the China Artists Association in Beijing.
There is a note in French on page 2 of the booklet, saying that 'the Chinese artists who participated in 'Magiciens de la Terre' will be expelled from the Association.'
