Artist statement for Drained III:

'In all the works of the Drained series there is a common design element of blocking the view and allowing only the centre portion as a symbol of narrow escape. In Drained lII, the viewer accesses the piece by squeezing through a narrow passageway or through a partially covered frame of a video projection of the body of a woman in struggle. It was first shown in the 1995 Fringe Festival.'
