Cambodia Through Art for the First Time

This is a translation (by the AAA project team) of a newspaper article authored by Thuan Thien which features the joint exhibition of an American artist, Bradford Edwards, and an Cambodia artist, Svay Ken. The exhibition was opened on 22 August 1998 at the Blue Space Contemporary Arts Center.

'Bradford Edwards has made works based on the idea of puppets.  Using photographs, fabric, wood, copper, iron, antique coins, he suggests to viewers various ideas [...] Svay Ken’s fifteen small paintings move us by the weight of his life experiences at odds with a child-like soul ...', quoted from the translated content.
