‘Being Minorities’ looked into how ethnic minorities in Hong Kong were represented following the handover of Hong Kong. Nine non-Chinese contemporary artists from Southeast Asia were invited to make art regarding ‘being (the) minorities’ in Hong Kong. The exhibition also examined the minor position of Asian art in the global art world.
