This catalogue accompanies the exhibition entitled 'Reorienting: Looking East' held at Third Eye Centre, Glasgow from January to March 1990, and at Nicola Jacobs Gallery, London from March to April 1990.

'[...] Reorienting: Looking East is the first exhibition in Britain to exhibit work by Miyajima, Morimura and Sugimoto. But the exhibition is not primarily about introducing new artists.
