The post-it was a sketch of the work. From a description written by Ellen Pau:

Pledge develops from Bik Lai Chu, an earlier installation at the Fringe Club Theatre Dressing Room. In Chinese custom, red scripts of blessing are put up on the wall or entrance with the surface and ephemeral nature of a written pledge. I put together 4 different flashing blessing or pledge on the wall. 

  1. Loyal and faithful to one own's country 精忠報國
  2. Believe and be saved 信者得救
  3. Three compliances and four virtues 三從四德
  4. Guarantee of confidence 信心保證
