The Perfumed Garden

Angel Flores' painting, The Perfumed Garden, created around 1965, when the artist was living in New York. The work was inspired by Marcel Duchamp's Fountain.
It was shown on a television talk show, 'Two For The Road,' in 1969, and in Flores' solo exhibition at Joy Dayrit's Print Gallery in 1971.

'Angel Flores' was an fictional persona co-created by Benjamin Bautista, Ramon Katigbak, and 'Angel Flores Jr.' — Roberto Chabet — who was the artist of all the works created.
