
Typed manuscript of an analysis essay by art historian Ratan Parimoo regarding Dasi — a Telugu film by B. Narasinga Rao. Released in 1988, the film is about the prevalence of dasi institution in the Telangana region during the 1920s when the region was ruled by the Nizam of Hyderabad. The film was screened in the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, and subsequently screened on television on 5 October 1990.
On the basis of this text, a review article was published under the same title in Jan/Feb Issue of the journal New Quest, Pune, in 1992
