This section relates to ‘Body and Dreams’, a solo exhibition by Vuong Van Thao that took place from 24 March to 8 April 2001. It showcased a series of works on traditional do paper that incorporate elements considered taboo in traditional Vietnamese art, such as body parts. According to the artist, they are both his source of inspiration and the attributes which can express his feelings.
