In this article, curator-cum-critic Oscar Ho revisits the meanings of New China's Art, Post 1989 exhibition that co-curated with Johnson Chang and Li Xianting in 1993 - in retrospect, it is regarded as a milestone for bringing experimental art of mainland Chinese artists to international art scene. Ho highlights the community forces in contributing to art development.
