'Throughout the exhibition we see the artist's use of repetitive patterns as her dominant motifs. These patterns are the focal point because they are painted with deliberate irregularities to resemble the "act" of painting. In her solo exhibition, KWOK Ying presents the Knit series, the Ceramic series and the Laura Ashley series with biro on paper, on ceramic as well as watercolour and Chinese ink on silk. Inside the catalogue, pictures of works, artist's statement and her biography are found.
