This is the catalogue of Vivan Sundaram's solo exhibition held at OBORO, Montreal in 1994; Contemporary Art Gallery, Vancouver in 1996; and Musee regional de Rimouski and Plug In Gallery, Winnipeg in 1997. Marie-Michele Cron writes, 'Through a rich combination of materials, textures and objects, and a radiating mise-en-scene that disturbs the viewer, Sundaram pursues the art of dislocation and admits to being as preoccupied with the notion of reception and interpretation of the image within the work, as with "a certain sort of space" to which it would point.'
