Calendar of Sad Love (Work in Progress)

A photograph illustrating 'January' in the photo collage work La Calendrier d'un Amour triste (Calendar of Sad Love) by Natasha Kraevskaia. The work represents in each month a scene from Jacques Prévert's poem Déjeuner du matin. This particular photograph was produced during the photo shoot, attempting to visualise the first sentence in the literary work, 'Il a mis le cafe Dans la tasse (He poured the coffee into the cup)'. Eric Leroux and Natasha Kraevskaia were the protagonists in each scene.
The group exhibition ‘Artists’ Calendars’, also known as ‘New Paintings and Artists’ Calendars’, was organised in Salon Natasha to celebrate Christmas and New Year. Apart from the painting-calendars that were produced specifically for the show, ‘Artists’ Calendars’ also showcased various new works by artists.
Participating artists include: Alain Bally (France), Bonney Bombach (Australia), Bui Viet Dung, Eric Leroux (France), Helga Groves (Australia), Elena Afonina (Russia), Anatoliy Solonin (Russia), Do Minh Tam, Le Hong Thai, Luong Thi Anh Tuyet, Mai Chi Thanh, Maritta Nurmi (Finland), Matthew Johnson (Australia), Nguyen Minh Thanh, Nguyen Quang Huy, Nguyen Van Cuong, Nguyen Duc Huy, Tran Nguyen Hieu, Tran Thieu Quang, Truong Tan and Vu Dan Tan. Natasha Kraevskaia and her daughter Vu Thi Nhusha had also made calendars for the exhibition.
