Press release of Roberto Chabet's solo exhibition '10,000 Paintings I Must Paint Before I Die', published in Manila Bulletin on 20 April 2009. The exhibition was held at Magnet Gallery, Katipunan from 14 April - 7 May 2009.

It features a same-titled installation composed of hundreds of red, yellow, blue, black, and white canvasses attached onto clipboards and installed on a grid on the walls, and a neon sign that reads '10000 Paintings I Must Paint Before I Die'.

The neon text refers to the title of a guide book on Art History, and the Buddhist concept of '10,000 Things', which denotes the sum of all essences and the dynamic interconnection, simultaneous unity and diversity of everything in the universe.
